My Brother’s Keeper

I am my brother’s keeper…

My mind was made to understand you.

My eyes were made to see pass the flaws.

My ears were made to listen to you.

My mouth was made to pray for you.

My hands were made to wipe away your tears.

My shoulders were made for you to lean on.

My back was made to help you carry the weight.

My arms were made to embrace you.

My heart was made to love you.

My soul was made to relate to you.

I am my brother’s keeper…

I am not above you.

I am not below you.

I am right beside you.

I am my brother’s keeper…

I was made to be there for you.

I was made to pull you through.

I am your family—your sibling in Christ.

And, God made me to help you.

  1. Beautifully written that causes one’s heart to be confident that someone, somewhere out there, is uttering prayers for the body of Christ. Thank you, Talisha 🙂 The fervent and effective prayer of the righteous avails much and its coverage is limitless.
