Obtained Favor from God

I believe there’s a significant reason God chose to take a rib from Adam to create Eve.

The Lord didn’t choose a bone from a man’s skull because, despite what you’ve heard, a woman was never meant to think like a man, but have her own mind.

Therefore, respectfully speaking, men shouldn’t get upset when a woman speaks it.

The Lord didn’t choose a bone from a man’s foot because, despite what you’ve heard, he wants the woman to be able to stand up for herself whenever need be.

Furthermore, respectfully speaking, God didn’t create a woman to be walked all over.

He chose a rib, I believe, to signify his woman was meant to be by his side.

He chose a rib, I believe, to signify his woman was meant to remain close to his heart.

He chose a rib, I believe, to signify his woman was meant to cover and protect his heart with respect.

He chose a rib, I believe, to signify his woman was meant to be loved by him.

He chose a rib, I believe, to signify his woman was meant to be a part of him.

The man himself proclaimed, “Here is someone like me! She is part of my body, my own flesh and bones. She came from me, a man. So I will name her Woman!” –Genesis 2:23

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and be with his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” –Genesis 2:24

What is missing from the man can be found in the woman, and when he finds the part of him that is missing, he will be complete, flesh and bone, as the two become one.

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.” –Proverbs 18:22
